Quick answers
Who is Binda for?
Binda helps the person organizing someone else’s care — often an adult daughter or son coordinating a parent’s care — keep medications, shifts, notes, appointments, and family updates in one calm place. It’s built for four kinds of people:
- The family coordinator — the person managing everything (and the one who pays for the plan).
- Paid caregivers — agency or independent. Free to use.
- Distant family — kept gently in the loop through the family feed.
- Doctors and specialists — invited to see only the parts they need.
Is Binda free?
Binda is free for caregivers, family members, and doctors — they’re invited to a plan at no cost. The family coordinator pays for the care plan through a subscription. There’s a free Starter tier and a 14-day free trial on the paid plans so you can try everything first. See Plans & billing.
How do I invite a caregiver or family member?
Open the care plan, go to Team, and tap Invite. Choose their role (caregiver, family, doctor, or observer) and Binda sends them an invitation. Roles come with sensible defaults for what they can see, and you can fine-tune permissions per section. Full walkthrough in Team & permissions.
How do I log a medication dose?
On the Medications screen, find the dose under “what’s due now” and mark it given. You can add an optional photo confirmation, and there’s an optional in-app pill-photo check that flags if what’s pictured doesn’t look consistent with the medication on file. Details in Medications.
Can family see everything?
No — the coordinator decides. By default, clinical-operational details like caregiver notes and timesheets are hidden from family, who see the warm family feed instead. A doctor sees clinical data, not finances; a caregiver sees their own work, not a coworker’s. See Team & permissions.
How do I cancel my subscription?
It depends where you subscribed. On iPhone/iPad, manage it in your Apple subscriptions; on Android, in Google Play; on the web, through the billing portal in Settings. Step-by-step for each in Plans & billing.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Delete account inside the app. Your personal data is removed. Care records you wrote during a shift (dose logs, notes, shift reports) stay with the family’s care plan, attributed only as “Former caregiver.” Read why in Privacy & data.
