Cookie Policy

1. The short version
- This page is about binda.health, our public website, and the sign-up pages of the web app. It is not about the Binda app itself, which sets no advertising or analytics cookies.
- We use one strictly necessary item (your cookie choice) and a small set of Google measurement cookies that tell us which pages and which of our ads bring people to Binda.
- Google's measurement tags are not loaded at all until you accept. Until then — and if you decline — your browser makes no request to Google from this site: no cookie, no page view, nothing.
- We never use cookies for remarketing or personalised advertising, and nothing anyone records inside the app is ever used for advertising.
- You can change your choice at any time with (also in the footer of every page).
2. The cookies we use

The tags are delivered by Google Tag Manager. Our hosting provider (Netlify) may set short-lived technical cookies needed to serve the site; they contain no personal information.
3. What the measurement data is, and what it is not
When measurement is on, Google Analytics records the pages you view, roughly where you are (city level, from your IP address, which Google discards), your device type, and the events below. Google Ads receives the fact that a visit began with an ad click, and — only if you go on to create a circle — a single “trial started” event with the plan tier.
- Events we send (only after you accept): a page view; a tap on an App Store or Google Play badge; a tap on “Try the demo”; a tap on a “Start free” button; and the trial start itself. Button events carry no page address.
- What we never send: your name, email address, anything typed into a form, any diagnosis, condition or care detail, and anything from inside the Binda app.
- What we never do: build remarketing audiences, personalise ads to you, match your email to an ad platform, or place any advertising pixel from Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn or anyone else.

4. Consent, and browsers that speak for you
The first time you visit, a small banner asks whether we may use measurement cookies. Until you answer, and if you decline, nothing from Google is loaded — the site works exactly the same, it just isn't measured. Your answer is kept in your browser (binda_consent) and applied on every page, including our support pages.
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a decline and do not show the banner at all.
5. Changing your mind
- Click — here or in the footer — and choose again. Declining stops new measurement cookies immediately; to remove ones already set, clear cookies for binda.health in your browser.
- Google's own controls: the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and Google ads settings.
- Your browser's settings can block or delete cookies for any site; the website works without them.
