Family care

For the one person holding it all together.

You are caring for your mother, your husband, your brother. There is no team — there is you, a phone full of photos of pill bottles, and a folder somewhere with the important papers. Binda is one calm place for all of it, built for the way you actually do this.

Tell Binda you do the hands-on care yourself and the home screen changes with you: the next dose, today's tasks, no empty “who's on shift”.

The demo signs you in as the family member doing the care yourself — no team, no account needed.

01

One place for every document

Power of attorney, the advance directive, insurance cards, the discharge summary from March, the letter from the neurologist. Right now they are in a drawer, a photo roll, and three email threads. Put them in Binda once, and they are there — on your phone, at the pharmacy counter, in the ER at 2am.

Files stay private to you unless you choose to share one. When a doctor or a respite worker needs a specific document, you decide which, not the app.

What families keep in Binda

  • Power of attorney and healthcare proxy
  • Advance directive / POLST
  • Insurance, Medicare and Medicaid cards
  • Hospital discharge summaries
  • Medication lists from each doctor
  • Care agreements and respite contracts
02

The doctors, and the appointments, in one list

Every provider with their phone number, and every visit — past and coming — on one screen. Add a doctor once. Schedule the follow-up before you leave the office. Look back at when the last cardiology visit was without digging through a calendar.

You can invite a doctor to see exactly what you allow and nothing more, so the question "what changed since I last saw her?" has an answer before the visit starts.

03

Medications, logged in a tap

What's due now, what's next, what was already given. Tap to log a dose and it's recorded with the time. Miss one and the app says so calmly — soft clay, never red — and lets you log it late without pretending it was on time.

Add a reference photo to each medication so anyone stepping in can confirm the right pill at a glance. The history is complete and timestamped, which is what a doctor asks for and what a pharmacist trusts.

04

Daily notes that turn into a summary

A line or two at the end of the day — how she ate, how she slept, the afternoon confusion, the good hour with the photo album. It takes thirty seconds and it is the most valuable record you will keep. Binda turns those notes into a plain summary of the week or the month.

That summary is what you hand a doctor at the visit, and what a respite worker reads before their first shift — the key issues, without the whole diary. You choose who sees what.

05

Resources that fit where you actually are

Tell Binda the diagnosis and it meets you there — short, plain guides on what to expect, sundowning, wandering, eating and sleep, written for family carers rather than clinicians. And a private weekly check-in on how you are doing, because the person doing all of this is a person too.

The check-in is yours alone; nobody else sees a score. Results come with resources that match your situation, and if a result suggests you need someone now, the 988 Lifeline is shown first. None of this is medical advice — always follow your own clinician.

06

Respite, without handing over everything

Eventually you need a break, and someone comes in for an afternoon, a weekend, or every Tuesday. Invite them as a respite worker. They see today's medications and schedule, write their own visit notes, and read a 60-day summary of the key issues — not your family's notes, not your documents.

For recurring help, set up their shifts and Binda keeps the schedule and the hours. Pause them between visits and resume when they're back, or set an end date and it happens on its own. Respite workers use Binda free.
