Notes that turn into a summary

The most valuable record a caregiver keeps is a line or two at the end of the day. Binda makes writing it fast, keeps it where the whole team can find it, and turns a month of entries into a page anyone can read in a minute.

A note takes thirty seconds

Write what happened, rate the categories that matter — mood, meals, sleep, mobility, fluids, pain, mind — with a tap, and post. Several categories can be rated on one note; the kind you pick becomes the headline the manager sees on Home.

Up to four photos can go on a note: a rash to show the doctor, a meal that went well. The care manager decides which, if any, are shared to the family feed — a photo never travels further than the note unless someone chooses.

Replies, mentions and what's new

Anyone on the care team can reply to a note, so a question about the afternoon confusion gets answered in the thread rather than by text message. Mention a person and they are told. Unread replies are counted on the note, so nothing important sinks.

The summary — the part people actually read

Binda writes a plain-language digest of the last day, week, month or sixty days from everyone's notes: overall condition and mood, eating and drinking, sleep, anything the team flagged, and what to keep an eye on. It is on the manager's Home and a tap away for family.

It is a summary of what was written, not a diagnosis — and it is written so that a doctor at the next visit, or a respite worker before a first shift, gets the key issues without the whole diary.

Who sees what

Notes are the working record of care, so by default family members see the calm summary and the feed rather than every clinical detail. A care manager can give a doctor the summary without the notes, and give a respite worker the ability to write their own notes and read only those. Every choice is theirs, per person.

A concerning note is flagged to the care manager the moment it is posted — but the note is still just a note. Binda does not diagnose, and it never replaces a call to the doctor.
